BELIEVING GOD IS A DECISION YOU MAKE!

The only way to receive from God is to believe.

Believe in the face of apparent defeat.

Believe in the face of lack.

Stand on  your decision to believe the promises of God.

When things are going wrong – believe.  And speak in the face of these adversities.  I am believing and trusting God.

“let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God.” Ephesians 4:29-30.

LESSONS FROM A DONKEY-Part 1-Music Video I Rest My Case at the Cross – Anna Mae McPhail Singing

LESSONS FROM A DONKEY – Remember the donkey Jesus road into town on. Here are some lessons from this donkey. He was just a donkey,   Lessons. We can learn to stay where God has us, be careful of the voices we allow in our lives, and learn to walk in complete submission and humility before God.  Mark 11:1-2,

Mark writes about Jesus sending two disciples to find a donkey tied to a post near a door or gate. His purpose was prophesied. Zech 9:9 says, “Behold a King is coming…riding on a donkey.”

Jesus knew that day that this particular donkey would be at this particular place for a particular purpose.

Sometimes if we are not careful, we could be like wild animals and only see the doorpost of what we’re tied to.

We begin to say things like, “This is just a door.” “This can’t get me anywhere in the Kingdom; it’s just a post.”

For us today, it would sound more like this.

“This is just a small church. What can we do?” Or “I am married to someone who could care less about the things of the Kingdom.”

Wherever you fit in these categories, remember the donkey had to stay where it was tied. Jesus instructs us in the same manner.

Many times, God tries to weed out our unrighteous ambitions. He puts us in places that we really don’t understand or appreciate, and sometimes it looks more like a hindrance than a benefit. But…if you will remain faithful in your place, God will see that every word spoken over you (just like in Zechariah) is fulfilled.

WHAT DOES GOD’S WORD SAY ABOUT…. DIET?

God gave us His laws so that we would know how to eat wisely. Keeping these laws will not produce holiness, nor gain us entry into heaven. However, we can benefit from them and be able to serve the Lord better if our physical bodies are in good shape.

We must trust the creator to know what is best for us to eat, instead of eating according to our traditions. He not only made our bodies, but all the animals as well and He certainly would not have made the distinction between “clean and unclean” in Leviticus 11 if it makes no difference what we eat. 1 Corinthians 10:31 sums it up beautifully, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

So, in all our partaking of food or drink we must ask ourselves, “Is what I am doing pleasing to God? Will my diet nourish my body so that it will be efficient in His service? Will it make my mind keener, my muscles stronger, my judgement more sound, my influence for the Lord more potent?”

Some things that we drink are just as bad for our bodies as the food we eat. We must ask God to deliver us from every desire to eat or drink anything that would defile our temples. Not only should our spiritual temples be cleansed but our physical ones as well, so that we might serve the Lord without any hindrances. If we really desire to become an overcomer, we will bring our bodies into subjection to the Holy Spirit as Paul did in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27:

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU – DECLARES THE LORD

The enemy would like to get you away from trusting God and into the arena of human reasoning.  He will say to you “You need to take charge of your life.”  At such moments, it is absolutely imperative that you take time to pray and listen to the voice of your Heavenly Father for certainly He is taking you down a path that is for your good not your disaster.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future. Jeremiah 29:11.

PAY ATTENTION TO HOPE

PAY ATTENTION TO HOPE

Most believers don’t pay much attention to hope. They don’t think of it as very important. They certainly don’t consider it to be as important as faith. But the fact is, faith won’t function without hope.

That’s because “Faith is the substance of things hoped for” (Hebrews 11:1). Sometimes I say it this way, “Hope is the blueprint of faith.” When hope is lost, faith loses its aim. It no longer has a mission to accomplish. It just scatters uselessly in every direction.

Before you can understand how important hope is, you have to realize that real, Bible hope is not “wishing.” That’s worldly hope. People in the world say, “I sure wish I would get a raise at work,” when what they mean is, “I want a raise. I don’t think I will get it…but it would be nice if I did.”

The kind of hope the Word of God talks about is much stronger than that because it’s not based on wishing or wanting. It is based on your covenant with God and the anointing God has provided to carry out that covenant in your life.
