ASSIGNMENT TIME  –LOVE – PART 3

1 Cor 13 – is a chapter talking about love —to people.   We are not talking about love food, cars, inanimate objects.. love is for people.

  This chapter is dealing with loving people.  Love never ends, prophecies end, tongues cease, knowledge passes away—but love the most constructive force on earth —will last forever.

 Your assignment in life is to cast down fear, anxiety, offense, bitterness, hesitation, and walk in love for people.  The easiest thing to say but the toughest to do. 

Do you know how to love?   Let God teach you.

Prayer:  – Father in Jesus Name we speak your Word over the people reading this blog today.  We give thanks today that our faith is rising to understand the things you need us to know.  Thank you that we never never never give up.  Thank you that we care more for others than we do ourselves.   Thank you that we never look back to our old life before Christ.  Thank you that we do not fly off the handle.  Thank you that we love others extravagantly.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

1 Cor 13 —The Message

If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. ²If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. ^3-7If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

   Love never gives up.
   Love cares more for others than for self.
   Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
   Love doesn’t strut,
   Doesn’t have a swelled head,
   Doesn’t force itself on others,
   Isn’t always “me first,”
   Doesn’t fly off the handle,
   Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
   Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
   Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
   Puts up with anything,
   Trusts God always,
   Always looks for the best,
   Never looks back,
   But keeps going to the end.

 ^8-10Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

 ¹¹When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.

 ¹²We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

 ¹³But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.

 Seek him for the fulfillment of this assignment in your life.

ASSIGNMENT TIME PART 1

for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces, for I am with thee to deliver thee saith the Lord. Jeremiah 1:7,8.

God has called you to be a blessing.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4,5

ASSIGNMENT TIME – 2 You Are the Solution

Someone needs you today and someone wants you.

Someone is crying out to God today and saying “God if you’re real send someone to me today.”

You are that someone.

BEING A BETTER WITNESS

BEING A BETTER WITNESS — Ben Smith, writing in the Politico, tells us Barack Obama’s allies meet every morning by conference call at 8:45 a.m. to build their talking points for the day.

I was thinking that wouldn’t it be good if all the Christians took the Word of God  and built our talking points for the day based on

^{Philippians 4:5}   Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.  ⁶Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. ⁷And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ⁸Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  ⁹Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

The world takes seriously the words of their mouth, and we should too.  If there be any virtue—speak it, if there be any praise —speak it, think on these things and let your faith speak.

“Then they compelled a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was coming out of the country and passing by, to bear His cross.”  Mark 15:21, NKJV

 Scripture says Simon was just “passing by.” 

God placed him right where he needed to be for this special assignment. 

He never dreamed he would carry Christ’s cross . . . but God knew. 

 The only one who was really surprised was Simon. 

God called me as a five year old child to work for Him.  I am the most surprised of anyone at all the Lord has done for me and through me. 

It hasn’t always been easy

• trials
• trouble
• difficult assignments

God has called us to carry a cross.  We trust God because  God sees the big picture.   

If you need prayer.  Please write –we will agree with you, and agree with God.  Call things that be not as though they were Rom 4:17  so that God will bring victory into your circumstances.

God wants to see you go over to the other side.

I have a great sermon on our assignment I might put it on the audio one day.

THE CHURCH TRIUMPHANT — The remnant!

LEARNING TO BE THE REMNANT –

If you have never been loved… can you love? 

If you have never experienced the love of God can you love other people…?  

If it wasn’t for the grace of God where would we be. Amazing grace.

God is asking us to extend mercy, like He extended it to us. 

If we are going to be the Church triumphant we will have to a people walking in the fruits of the Spirit – Gal 5

^{1Cor 13  1}If I speak with the ^(A)tongues of men and of ^(B)angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a ^(C)clanging cymbal.

 ²If I have the gift of ^(D)prophecy, and know all ^(E)mysteries and all ^(F)knowledge; and if I have ^(G)all faith, so as to ^(H)remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

 ³And if I ^(I)give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I ^(J)surrender my body ^[a]to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

 ⁴Love ^(K)is patient, love is kind and ^(L)is not jealous; love does not brag and is not ^(M)arrogant,

 ⁵does not act unbecomingly; it ^(N)does not seek its own, is not provoked, ^(O)does not take into account a wrong suffered,

 ^6(P)does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but ^(Q)rejoices with the truth;

 ^7(R)bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

 ⁸Love never fails; but if there are gifts of ^(S)prophecy, they will be done away; if there are ^(T)tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away.

 ⁹For we ^(U)know in part and we prophesy in part;

 ¹⁰but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.

 ¹¹When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.

 ¹²For now we ^(V)see in a mirror dimly, but then ^(W)face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also ^(X)have been fully known.

 ¹³But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is ^(Y)love.

STRONG DELUSION –

2 Thessalonians 2:11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Back to the Bible did a survey and it found.. the reason Christians lives are no different than the world… is because they do not know, read and understand the Word of God.

 

It found people who read the Bible, study and digest the word of God 4 times a week minimum… that Word changes their lives.

 

Less then that… and they are not changed by the Word of God.  There is no difference in their lives then people in the world.

 

So going to church 2 hours on Sunday, isn’t coming close to coming against the doctrines of devils,  being sent over the air, internet, and tv by billions of dollars of marketing-slick marketing of “lies”.  Doctrines of devils being propogated by demonic forces both within and outside the church.

 

We are facing the end times… the strong delusion has hit.

 

People don’t carry their Bibles to church.  Churches don’t quote the bible.. Churches don’t know the Bible,  these are the days.. gross darkness.

 

GO BACK – It is in repentence.  It is not in the dance or in the manifestations…. its in Jesus and knowing the truth of His Word. 

 

The Old Rugged Cross –  It’s back to the cross and the blood of Jesus which cleanses us from all sin. 

 

Holiness – without which no man shall see God. Heb 12:14.   It’s back to holiness of mind, thought and practice. 

2 Cor 7:1 – Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
No deception can penetrate your life when you know the Word of God.

 

No sin can overtake your life… . Because you are renewing your mind daily through the Word of God.  

 

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth

 

You are sanctified by the truth in His Word.

 

2 Thessalonians 2

 ¹Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

 ²That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

 ³Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

 ⁴Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

 ⁵Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

 ⁶And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

 ⁷For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

 ⁸And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

 ⁹Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

 ¹⁰And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

 ¹¹And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

 ¹²That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 ¹³But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

 ¹⁴Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 ¹⁵Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

 ¹⁶Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

 ¹⁷Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work
