God is a God of the high places. He is the God of mountaintop experiences.
But he is also the God of the bottom. Duet 33:27 “The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
No matter how deep the valley God’s presense is deeper.
Underneath any crisis my family faces, are the everlasting arms of God.
You may feel your in a free fall sometimes. Facing financial ruin, your family torn apart, you may have lost your best friend. Look for God He’s at the bottom and the low point with you.
CONFESSING – the word of God sets the law of faith in motion.
What you believe you speak.. yes that’s the way it works.
Observing one thing–people who can’t make the effort to praise and worship the only true God —are defeated people. Get away from me.
What you speak you will believe stronger every time you speak it.
THE LAW of Faith –I love reciting the word of God. It carries with it the anointing of God .
Years ago, I wanted God to give us a IBM Selectra II typewriter, in the 70’s we had a mailing list for Prayer Letters, God was moving, and we needed to step up the technology. I would type it up on the typewriter and print it on the gestetner, and mail it out. (No e-mail).
I said Lord… help us please. The Selectra was $1500 in the 70’s which was a huge amount of money. I told God… give me, ( I am known for asking) what I need Lord and I’ll serve you with it, and spread your Word. I spoke to the mountain of lack, and said you take your hands off my finances. Lord send the funds. Well God answered, and we got it, and it boosted our Prayer Letter ministry immensely. Souls were saved, sick bodies were healed and we knew…once again.. The power of prayer and faith in the promises… that “My God supplies ALL …” is true. It was true then and it’s true today.
This story is in Fear Fighters J. Franklin’s book.
I heard of a guy who couldn’t speak English. He was terrified of trying, for fear of failure. So he found an English teacher and asked him to teach him to order a meal in a restaurant in perfect English. The teacher taught him four words, hamburger, french fries and Coke.
Soon he got tired of hamburger, french fries and toast, and so he asked the English teacher to teach him how to order something else. The teacher taught him to say eggs, toast and juice.
So he ordered eggs, toast and juice. But when the waiter asked “how do you want your eggs?” the guy stared back blankly. Then the waiter asked, “what kind of toast do you want?” And would you like orange juice or apple juice?” The guy stared helplessly at the waiter for a moment and then said “Hamburger, french fries and Coke”
Alot of people live a “hamburger, french fries and Coke” life because they are not willing to do something imperfectly or try to do something new.
You cannot please God by playing it safe, and you cannot succeed in life without taking risks.
I would rather try to do something for God and fail than not try to do anything. That leads to barrenness and futility of your purpose in life.
Speak over your situation (believing words, faith filled words, speak the Word of God, get the promises and speak them over your situation), and you will see the victory. As long as you are fearing, and speaking about the terrible… awful situation your in… your faith is going down the drain. And let me tell you something your enemy the devil wants you talking awful, and terrible.
Faith speaks words that are confident of God’s Word coming to pass. Mark 5—rise up in confidence in God. Believe in —-rely on —God’s word and great things will happen. If we can change our believing, God can change our lives!
